This has been a far reaching program with Bereaved Moms joining us from England, Canada, New Zealand and across the United States. We thank Arms Wide Open Childhood Cancer Foundation and TheTruth365 for partnering with the 1Voice Foundation in this very special program.Voices of Angels' Online Bereavement Workshops are now open to all bereaved childhood cancer parents. ❤The online bereavement workshops have been a big success! While the first two sessions were reserved for the newly bereaved, the remaining 2021 sessions are for all bereaved childhood cancer families. In partnership with Voices of Angels, the Arms Wide Open Childhood Cancer Foundation is offering free online bereavement support to childhood cancer families. These small, peer-facilitated group sessions will be held over zoom on a monthly basis. The link to register is at the end of this post. Sessions are available on a first come, first served basis. There is a limit of 12 participants per workshop. If the sessions fill up, we will do our best to add additional workshop dates because we do not want to turn any family away. After Tutoring and our Manatee Wedding, we enjoyed a social distance PE Class with Hoola Hoops, baseball, soccer, yard dice and ring toss. The kids did GREAT! So much fun running and playing!! Tuesday Tutoring: Max, leukemia survivor, rang the dinner bell as we gathered picnic style for Mission Bar-B-Que and yummy Girl Scout cookies donated by Brownie Troop 32715. Thank you so much for your generosity! Families went home with yummy boxes and we appreciate you thinking of 1Voice. One on one Tutoring and group study was in full swing. The Tutors worked on Math, Reading, learning how to tell time and spelling. When all homework was completed, the group was entertained by Laurel and her Tutor Ella, who have been meeting on Zoom for weeks planning a “Manatee Wedding”.
