G.R.I.P: Guidance Resources & Implementing Plan: Survivorship Program

Young adults with cancer (15-39), have limited resources, inadequate support, and struggle to join programs that are age-appropriate. Often they are too old for pediatric programs and yet too young for adult resources. Our young adult cancer group meets monthly to address their issues, provide guest speakers and resources while providing peer support from other young adult cancer patients and families. Issues we address are life skills, occupational therapy, finances, education, and scholarships.
