The 1Voice Foundation funds pediatric cancer research at our pediatric cancer research lab. The lab is located at 13719 North Nebraska Avenue, Suite 108, Tampa, FL 33613. Our lab is directed under the supervision of Cameron Tebbi, M.D., internationally recognized for his outstanding research and pediatric hematology/oncology care of patients. Our research funding stays local and is dedicated to Dr. Tebbi and his ultimate goal – a vaccine for childhood leukemia. In January 2020, the 1Voice Foundation welcomed our new Research Assistant, an Independent Contractor, Jiyu Yan, Ph.D., to our research lab. She works under the direction of Cameron Tebbi, M.D.
Dr. Tebbi is internationally recognized for his outstanding research and pediatric hematology/oncology care of patients. He is on the Board of Directors for the 1Voice Foundation and serves as Chair for our Scientific Advisory Committee.
Our research funding stays local and is 100% dedicated to Dr. Tebbi and his ultimate goal, a vaccine for childhood leukemia. The understanding of etiology of acute lymphoblastic leukemia in children with a combination of studies designed to evaluate the induction and development of leukemia cell surface phenotypes and find possible means to detect leukemia in patients “cured” of the disease. The purpose is to identify individuals with a “tendency” to develop ALL with the ultimate goal of preventing this disease with a vaccine. Dr. Tebbi has been working on this project for nearly 40 years and receives no compensation for his research work.
